Master of Arts (abbreviated MA or M.A.) degrees are graduate-level achievements conferred by universities around the world. A Master of Arts degree can offer a number of diverse benefits ranging from enhanced career prospects to improved problem-solving and decision-making skills. Additionally, a Master of Arts can lead to post-graduate study in a PhD program. Specialized subjects within disciplines in the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and sometimes Business and Law, fall within the academic realm of Master of Arts. MA candidates are often required to complete research and present a thesis paper prior to completion of their degree.

M.A.(Rural Development) Course: 

Vasai is situated on the west coast of Thane District at a distance of 50 km from Mumbai Universi. AS a moffusil area of the city Of Mumbai, it is rapidly developing with Bassein High Oil exploration, the creation of industrial estates and completion of a new railway bridge, this historical place is going through rapid industrial transformation. From Saphale at one end to Mira road at the other, the population Of Bassein is now over 6 lakhs and is steadily growing as a result of the continuous influx of new residents who are occupying apartment buildings near the railway stations at Mira Road, Bhayander, Naigaon, Vasai Road, Nallasopara and Virar.

The M.A. (Rural Development) Course is very much in demand and right from Borivali to Palghar there is no college with M.A. (RD) course. Many students in our  College had requested us to start the course from the academic Year 2006-2007, Thus starting M.A. (Rural Development) Course in our college is a necessity.
